The discovery of an Anglo-Saxon brooch brings forth spirits from the past in search of revenge.

A time-slip novel which unites characters from the past and present in a struggle for revenge.
In the present day, Megan inherits a riverside cottage in the Cotswolds from her grandmother, but little does she realise what events will unfold.
Who is the mysterious woman who appears at the cottage and what is she searching for?
Trying to rebuild her life after a recent heartbreak and following the death of her grandmother, Megan realises you cannot escape the past, however distant.
In the 6th Century, an Anglo-Saxon queen is betrayed by her closest friends. Nothing will stop her in her struggle for the truth to be revealed, not even time itself.

When a message in a bottle washes up in the harbour at the end of the summer holidays, little does Thomas Prow realise how much his ordinary life is about to change.

Summoned by the mysterious Captain Ginger from the School for Scoundrels, to attend a school for pirate youths, Thom is reluctant to leave his grandparents, childhood home and friends.
However, Thom is forced to leave the seaside town in which he has grown up, when his grandfather is kidnapped by pirates and a ransom set: either hand over the treasure map - or else grandpa gets it!
Unable to tell them where the map is, Thom sets sail with the School for Scoundrels and goes in search of his grandfather, a different education and the lost treasure map of his ancestors.

When a storm breaks out, Bessie becomes disoriented and struggles to find her way home. As the waters rise, Bessie’s chances of survival diminish.

When a letter dated February 1944 lands on her doormat 73 years too late, Laura tries to discover if Lily Street, the woman to whom it is addressed, is still alive. Discovering that she is in a nursing home, Laura wonders if she is doing the right thing in bringing the past back to her door. But through meeting Lily, and bringing closure for her, Laura realises that despite how hard it can be, sometimes love is worth waiting for.
